RESTORATIVE FUTURES
MELIOR_THESIS Design Research Project
Progress has long been defined by expansion, yet every advancement has left traces of imbalance in the environments we inhabit. This project positions design as a means of repair, asking how spatial thinking can contribute to ecological renewal rather than depletion.
Through research and material experimentation, Restorative Futures explores the intersection of environmental systems, policy, and human experience. It studies how adaptive frameworks can transform sustainability from an end goal into an ongoing process of design.
At its core, the project reflects on how thoughtful interventions can bridge the distance between built and natural systems, proposing design as an instrument for balance and continuity.
